CBT / Adaptive Psychological Therapy for Children and Young People
Childhood and adolescence can bring many emotional, social, and developmental challenges. Whether your child or teenager is experiencing anxiety (OCD, phobia, health, separation, social, panic, generalised, specific), low mood, school-related difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, low self-esteem, or the impact of significant life events, I provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where they can feel heard and understood.
As an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with a background in mental health nursing, I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each young person's age, needs, and goals. While CBT forms the foundation of my work, I also draw upon a range of adaptive psychological therapies to ensure treatment is flexible, engaging, and centred around the individual.
I work collaboratively with children, young people, and, where appropriate, parents or carers to help develop practical coping strategies, build resilience, improve emotional wellbeing, and support lasting positive change.
